Stingray - Sandilands Rehab Mural

Create this piece as part of a collaborative effort to bring color to the Sandilands Rehab Center in Nassau, The Bahamas.

This depicts a large stingray silhouette in simple underwater scene. This was my first test at creating something impactful while keep things simple. I enjoyed this process and this might be the first in a series of silhouette based pieces.

A UK artist, Lamorna Penrose, did the Large turtle and Starfish, and some of the residents of the unit painted the paint the sea creatures that I added in the other spaces. So they were truly invested in this project.

This mural is on the Child and Adolescent Unit and was finished right before the 10th year anniversary of the unit.
